I can still remember the day she first told me about her new pregnancy. She was glowing and grinning ear to ear when she shared with me that she was pregnant! The funny part is that she told me that only her and her husband know, and I have to keep it a secret until they share it with everyone else! Talk about pressure, and not to mention that we have several mutual friends. I kept my word, and zipped my lips!

As a Sarasota maternity photographer,Getting to know some of the more intimate details about Erin and her family, made me want to do this shoot for her even more. She unknowingly reminded me of why I do what I do. Behind her smile is courage, strength and impalpable love for her family. She inspires me to be strong and keep pushing on, no matter what.

The passion I have for telling the stories of one’s journey, frozen in tiny snippets of time, goes much further than just what I see though my lens. I aspire to create tangible heirlooms that my clients will enjoy for years to come.

I have enjoyed getting to know Erin over this past year and whilst helping her plan her maternity and boca grande family beach session with me. I decided to share my desire to shoot film at her upcoming session, and she was completely on board. Shooting film gave more meaning to this shoot for me too, because it is the first time I have shot only film for the entire shoot. There is something so rewarding about it, it’s hard to even put into words.

I had an incredible time together and cannot wait to meet your newest addition when he arrives!
