While visiting Canada, I was able to sneak in a quick Ottawa engagement session with Dan and Charissa.

They had the perfect place in mind.  When we pulled into the park, it seemed familiar, as I had visited it once on one of my visits to Canada a few months ago.

Gorgeous weeping willow trees traced along the river’s edge as far as you could see. Doing an Ottawa engagement session here was going to be a dream.

Dan and Charissa are my husband’s friends and he had just introduced them to me a few days before their session.  Despite just meeting them, you could see how easy it was for them to love on each other and they warmed right up in front of my lens.  As I asked them questions as to how he proposed, I got to see this sweet couple light up with excitement and joy as they relived that special moment over again. I couldn’t be happier for them, and can’t wait for their upcoming Ottawa wedding!
