Shooting April and Ronnie’s Koreshan State Park Engagement Session was a dream. A beautiful couple, their two puppies and not a rain cloud in sight. I was so excited to meet these two from the first phone call April and I had when she inquired about booking me as her wedding photographer several months back.
From our phone call I could tell she had a sweet and calm spirit and it came to to life when I met them for the first time at Koreshan State Park for their engagement photo session. I couldn’t wait to capture their love through my lens, but even more, I couldn’t wait to meet their two fur babies. I love when my couples include their pets in their engagement sessions.
As we walked though Koreshan State Park, I got to know the couple a little better. I got to see them relax and become more comfortable as the session progressed. I always enjoy shooting engagement sessions for this reason. My couples get to meet me and see my personality and I get to learn more about how they met, and them as individuals as well. Because I am a people person, this is what I love most; connecting. And it is also essential to becoming comfortable with each other and gaining their trust as well. I want my couples to know that I am not just their hired photographer for the day, but that I truly care. I want to not only document their wedding day as it unfolds, but I want to help in any other way I can to assure them a stress free, beautiful wedding day.
I can’t wait for their Fort Myers, Florida wedding this December. It’s going to be so lovely once all the details come together. Oh, and the weather will most-certainly be beautiful as well. The best time for Florida weddings truly is during our winters.
See you two in just a couple months!
